LMMS 1.1.3 crashes while playing SF2 tracks

Running version 1.1.3 on Debian GNU/Linux "Jessie", and the application crashes when working with SF2 files. Regular playback and looping are both affected. Changing the audio interface from SDL to ALSA doesn't make a difference. When it crashes in ALSA mode, though, the audio gets all jarbled when the application reloads. I am able to reproduce this crash frequently.

Welcome to the community!
The problem with linux, is that there are so many customizings, and it is imposible to know what component you have to do something to. It is not a general issue.
I know that the KVX distro is ok with 1.1.3, but i dont know for 'Jessie'
If anyone here uses 'jessie' - please chime in!
Does this happen with every sf2 file, or is this only with one specific file?
How does other programs work? Do you have a option to try a sf2 in something else than lmms?
