Peak in Loudness after Releasing Note?

Hey, not sure if this can be dealt with using some kind of effect but I thought I'd ask - what can you do to remove ambient sounds that appear after releasing notes?

I'm experimenting with SFZ files (Metal GTX) loaded in Sforzando with couple different amplifiers, a cabinet impulse loader, LMMS's 'exciter', EQ and a compressor.

For some reason it has a sharp rise in volume after each note is released. Not sure why though.

Thanks for any infos and for your time!

Increase your compressor release and try? If this doesn't help turn off each effect one by one to isolate the issue.
It sounds like a compression/limiting release issue but who knows?
Also check your amplifiers if they have anything on. I cannot imagine a scenario with several different amps, but I've used the exciter and I don't think cabinet impulse loader could have caused this either.
Doesn't hurt to check though. Try isolating it.

If you can't fix it directly, you could use sidechain/compression to hide it.
