Do you use a Arturia Keystep MIDI Keyboard -Please Help LMMS

Anything that doesn't fit into other topics goes here!
We need your assistance!
We want to hear if any user own a Arturia Keystep MIDI Keyboard, and if they can use it without issues at all, especially on their LINUX distro.
But Windows Users with functional Arturia Keystep are also wanted to chime in -Please!
We would like to know:
* Distro
* Driver + vers & release
* ..anything you may find important
I have been looking, also on the Linux musician forum, but can't find anything really use full.

There are rumours some got it working, by installing the Arturia software through wine.
Also hacking the .exe file so it will not search for windows.

Any USB device that needs drivers and or software, is something to stay away from, if your on Linux.

Oh dear.. That was nor what i hoped to learn.
Thanks for the info!
Wine is very good, but its a gamble, and then you already spend your money.

The dac I am using is official not supported on Linux.
But the manufacturer site does say that if your Linux distro is Class Compliant it might work.

Our USB products (Scarletts and Clarett USB) are Class Compliant USB Devices and may work in a Linux-based setup that supports this class of device, but we do not offer support for doing this and cannot verify the performance you may experience.
Back to the Aturia, this means anything that needs their software can be a problem.

I will ask on the Linux musicians forum though if somebody got it working.

Thanks! It is a sad situation having bought a keyboard,m and then not being able to use it. It is also not good for LMMS that the same keyboard can be used in demos of other DAWs, there we have an inferiority that is sad. I will relay the info around WINE to the guy on Discord, by linking him to this

Yeah it works fine for me and no software is required.
