Keyboard keys remain pressed for a random amount of time.

I plugged in my Yamaha psr-170 and when I tried playign something the keys would remain pressed for a random amount of time and I would not be able to press them again for saidamount of time 10.0.0.0.1 192.168.1.254 . Why is this and furthermore how can I fix it?

Virtually? -eg hanging note -or is the keys on LMMS-keyboard drawed as actually pressed down?

Not sure -perhaps a buffer issue

how can I fix it?

First we need to know a little more:
Is this happening
* with all instruments?
* in all projects -also new and 'empty' -as in projects with no effects
What are your latency-settings?
