I made Melbourne Bounce!

So, yeah, it turned out pretty good actually, although it took much less time than any other song I made. I know the break feels a bit weird but that's rather because I didn't really care about that part.

So, here's a dropbox link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/wgqd69oqojdo3 ... e.ogg?dl=0

I only have dropbox because I feel like my music is still way too bad as I could upload it to YouTube or Soundcloud. It was also the first time I tried something like Bounce, so.. However, it's actually too fast for Bounce and there's some other stuff I didn't hear on other songs out of that genre, but I don't care.

Except some of the drums (I got them from a Samplepack), the drop lead and that uplifter (both Spire) everything is LMMS! If anyone is interessested in the project file, I can certainly upload it somewhere!

What do you guys think about it? It also doesn't really have an name.

good track. the lead is almost too 'dark' for me, but thats just me. I especially liked your builds and the fine balance in the production.

Yeah, it's indeed a bit dark, but one octave higher didn't work out that good so I left it that way. Glad you like it!

Wow!
This track has a sort of darkish tone to it.
I like the part from 1:13 secs. Lovely synth used there. :D
Nice track.

PS: A little bit of improvement needs to be done.
Some of the 'build ups," in this track, don't seem to transition well, into the rest of the music that comes after the "build up."
And some of the build ups, end too sooner than it should.
It's really sort of difficult to explain, in words.

But all in all, nice track dude! :D

Well, thank you!

I know, the transitions are pretty unpolished, but after all, I spent for this track much less time then other tracks I do!

The synth you mentioned is a layer from two Zyns, with some rather random frequency automation going on (a cool trick I learned a few days ago).

Thank you for your feedback!

Interesting track !
Buildups are so well done !! ;)
You could improve it by sidechaining the synth a little
I advise you to try -> https://www.hintonandfairchild.co.uk/pr ... gkixdippa/
wich is a Fake-Sidechain like KickStart by Nicky Romero but the one I gave you is free and has a belbourne bounce preset !
Keep on the good job :D
