Hi,

Do you use the possibility to change the colors of tracks, bus or clips? If so, how?

You need a 1.3 release for colouring anything but beat-tracks. Beat-tracks has been able to have any colour you like for years.
All changes are inside context-menus, so you right-click the item you want to control, and select the colour you like from the options.

I should have been more precise. I know how to “use” the colors, technically speaking. But I meant: from a musician point of view. Do you, for example, set the same color for instrument of a same kind, or do you use a specific color for automation track, or for the parts of the song, etc… This kind of “how”..

I wasn’t using colors so far. I started to do so and it seems to me there are many manners to exploit this functionality. I tried different things but, for now, can’t stick to one in particular. Hence this question.

ahh thatta way..
Well personally i use coloured blocks to structure my project, but thats very individual i'm sure
You can see my take on it in a (lengthy) video i called 'best-practice' witch is all about project structure and use of coloured blocks

Yeah I guess so. The possibility to color every clip individually gives a lot of different ways to use coloration.

I’ll try to follow my instinct.
