From an LMMS point of view, yes.

But what do yo mean by an opensource project?
You need to more specific on what you want to do.

Legal questions around other items than LMMS licence is not LMMS-team relevent. You would have to look into the specifics in the HW or the sample collection that you want to use. If it does not have any specific licence for the samples or tone-generators, then you either have to contact the manufacturer or find information in online Forum or similar source.
