C:\Program Files (x86)\Vstplugins\Audio Damage
Never use
Program Files for anything that is not actual
installed programs
VSTs are not real programs, and they do not belong in that folder.
The folder(s)
Program Files (x86) & Program Files should be understood as a windows OS
controlled domain, and never be used for userfiles.
Windows wont let you or any software get access. It is a security feature, that help excluding some type of malware.
No Your VST for LMMS should be placed in your USER-domain, and for LMMS it is meant to be in
USER| LMMS domain
Inside that domain you find a serialized folder
Samples
and that is actually the best folder for your VSTs!
Make a subfolder in Samples -fi
myVST -and in that folder you can have any subfolder you like -f.i. one for each of your VSTs that has libraries or Banks, but you can also have single dlls directly in the folder myVST.
The additional benefit is that it is easy for you to make backups of all VST-presets you may have made in any Bank
Try that setup and let us know if your kombinat vst plugins are working now.
OBS VST-
effects are meant to be in the folder
vstPlugins!
