What are some minimalist, primitive DAWs?

I know this is kind of a strange request but I'm looking for a primitive, minimalist DAW with crappy instrument plugins so I can promote my creativity and make simple demos. Can you guys recommend anything?

There is an archive of all previous versions released of LMMS, but LMMS has never been crappy 😏..
You can easily find really primitive VST-instruments that you can load in LMMS
Search for 8-bit emulation VST, and remember that atm LMMS only support VST2, so no need to DL any VST3 ....Kind of crappy actually...
