probleme with vst highlife from discodsp the menu is problem
the menu appears for a second and then closes for no reason - is this a bug?

Some VST is like that..
Open settings
In the selection "Plugin Embedding"
change to the opposite of current selection.
Besides that, since you are new in Forum

Won't the plugin integration function be removed in the next version of lmms?

One plan is that embedding
must be pr plugin, and not a one-for-all option. That would be the best solution, because some plugins may need embedding, while some other on same project may not.
LMMS need to be able to use the plugin unique ID-stamp. Atm that is not implemented
