Any new progress on issue: BlueCat plugins freeze LMMS on startup?

Hi, all! There are some really great Blue Cat plugins which I love to use; but I have to remove all of them from my project before I save and close the project --- otherwise, the project will freeze upon re-opening. I know this is also experienced by others, and I know the issue has been discussed among developers. Has there been any progress on resolving the issue?

I'm on Windows XP, LMMS v 1.0.3

I do not seem to have this problem on Linux.

Are you using bcfa 2 ?

Using vst on Linux in general though often makes lmms less stable.
