Hi, I downloaded a .mid file and it seems as if the tempo is already written into the file. It even changes throughout the file. I am wondering whether there is a way to control it manually like in "normal" midi channels https://omegle.onl/ vshare . Thank you!

Yes there is a way
Right-click on the BPM-gadget, and select option "Remove-global-automation", that should do it
