hey im so new to lmms and producing in general so if this is a simple fix thats my bad

so i'm sampling this jazzy song, and i have it connected to the audiofile processor instrument, and its working great but theres this weird awkward space in the actual note

i messed around with the time signature and it helped a little but i still cant get it quite right.

Do you mean note end to soon like the 'space' is to the ultimate right?
If so you have to make the note longer, but there is a flaw in audiofile processor. AFP wont play a sample for any longer than 50 secds. That is fixed in current 1.3-alpha, but AFP is in fact not the correct tool for long samples. Try Sample-track instead
I have made videos that explain both the usage of AFP, and ST. It also shows some neat tricks : )
