Hi there! I'm about to buy a new laptop and I'd like to know if you have any advice for me, related to music production. I mainly use LMMS and Mixxx for DJing. I'd like to know if there are any brands that you'd recommend, or if there are any particular thing that you think I should be aware of, components and so on. I'd love to hear from you. Make sure to have enough memory, because of plugins you might wanna use.

So 8 or 16 gig or even 32 bit.

I aware buying any laptop as they won't last longer.

I really recommend you a Mini PC over a laptop for many reasons:
very Compact and portable.
more recent technology and powerful.
the highest configuration is cheaper than the laptop.
Peripherals can be customized like multiple screen, keyboard, guitar. there are enough ports.
saves space for music production.
saves money for buying music stuffs.

But if you have to.

prepare for 800$ to get a decent laptop.
