Presentation

Anything that doesn't fit into other topics goes here!
Hi all guys, i'm a very very newbe here, nice to meet you all.
I'm HaseoITA, and i'm 42 yo.
What i do here? Simply, i like electronic music since youth, but i never thought of learning how to do.
When i was young i played with the MAGIX Music Maker Generator, but it was a play.
Now i would like to see if i am able to learn how to do music.
I don't want to become a super producer or a mega DJ, but simply i would like to learn a little how to do something that i like.
For this reason, i would like to ask you, community, if you can help me.
For example, i can create a little loop of melody, but then i block and i don't know how to proceed, i know im missing something.
The, all the suggestion to a dummy like me are quite welcome, if someone wants to mentor me is very appreciated.
One of my objective of this year would be learn the basics to create an electronic melody.
Thanks to all that will read my presentation.

That is propl. the most common stumple-stone for everyone!
What you need to look into is structure.
By that i mean you need to make a selection of your favourite music -some 5-7 tracks you like the most, and listen to these tracks in a completely new way
Pinpoint:
* What makes out the track (Intro, build-up, chorus, verse -can you locate and hear them?
* Number of bars in each part of the track
* transitions between parts -How are the made, what can you learn from it
youTube can assist you, because there are loads of vids where producers makes breakdowns of famous tracks / 'songs', and step by step recreate them!
Understanding Structure is perhaps the most important in music.
Long ago i made

That is all about maintaining structure in an LMMS-project
Looooooooong vid, TLDR for some..
Also learning the ropes in your tools is important.
For LMMS i made Rookie-guide.
