Piano Roll Notes Speed up When Changing Pitch

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
I have sampled audios that I am using to create my music.

Whenever I change the pitch in the piano roll interface, it either speeds up or slows down the tempo of my file. This makes it so that I can't edit the key too much.

How can I lock the tempo of the audio so that it doesn't change when creating notes in the piano roll?

with Samples -You cant
Only midi-events can change pitch without changing the tempo.
You need to use a wave-file-editor like Audacity and build new files for every pitch you want to use (big job!)
Then you need a Sampler to host the new files
In Linux that mean Linux-Sampler
In Windows you can use Sitala
