MIDI HW Owner Q: Sending CCs to external MIDI synthesizer

Hi,

I have some external MIDI synthesisers. I can send note-on/-offs to them by creating a "dummy" instrument (Vestige/SF2-Player/...) and enabling midi-out. But what I could not achieve, so far, is sending continuous controller values to them. I have found the MIDI-CCs rack. But whatever I set there, seemingly nothing is sent out to the external midi synthesiser.

I maybe am doing something "not so clever" here...?

BTW: I have not used LMMS for a while (2009?), now. Is it still the case, that I have to use a "dummy" instrument for MIDI or did I miss something?

I believe your question was perfectly well expressed, so there is nothing there that will explain the lack of interests
I hoped some HW owner would chime in, but i fear the lack of response mirrors the very limited number of peeps that actually has MIDI-HW..
