write notes using midi keyboard freely

Hello
im new on LMMS. I can record the notes with my midi keyboard through metronome very well .
I need to do is to write notes on piano roll freely with my midi keyboard, i mean without metronome . Just press a key and write the note and then press another key etc. without forcing me to catch the guide moving sticking the metronome. Im not sure if i explain it well with my bad english, i hope i could.

Not sure i understand fully, but i think you mean capture pressed notes inside piano-roll, and without having any set spacing of the notes -eg Free positioned notes, and yes that is possible
There are two different ways to use note-capture
*1 Re-Playing song-editor simultaneously with note-capture : 3. button from left
*2 Note-capture without re-play: Second button from left


But for both features the important thing for free-inserting is to set Q-value to 1/192.
With that setting the notes are inserted as you play them, without any fixed positioning. I believe that is what you mean by freely
