Is it possible to make the wave form of a sample track more visible? Because most times the name of the audio hides it, making the manipulation unnecessarily difficult

You can scale the sample-track
Hold Ctrl, and roll mouse-wheel, that is the only way to change how to view a sample inside sample-track
