Since in LMMS there's no option to save a single pattern made in Piano Roll to later use in another project, I'm thinking a good workaround might be to make the sequences in another program and then export them, as MIDI. I'm still unclear on what program to use.
Anvil-studio is free and has a good midi-sequencer, but with a small trick LMMS can save single midi-sequences as midi notes.
I made a quick video that shows how to do that:
You need to use 2 projects
1) The actual LMMS-project with all the tracks
2) A complete empty project
Place the two projects side by side on the screen
Locate the track you want transcribed to midi in the The actual LMMS-project
Rest the mouse over the nobbled edge of the track-button of the track you want in midi
Press and hold Ctrl
Press and hold left-mouse
Drag the mouse out of the The actual LMMS-project, and into song-editor of the empty project
You now got the The actual LMMS-project-track as a copy in the empty-project
Use File| Export-to-Midi in the empty-project
Select a destination and export
You now have a MIDI-note copy of the single track.
