Can someone help me fix this

So I recently downloaded this for fun but I've quickly ran into some problems with the Piano Roll and other things.

Opening up a new project, I can create a new segment for the TripleOscillator just fine and open it up. However I have very limited control over the notes, firstly, they always play their full length no matter what, even if the notes are really small.
Also, I can't resize said notes, putting my mouse on the right side and trying to resize just moves the note, the option to resize it simply isn't there for some reason.
Lastly the notes always snap to the beginning of each column. I have no control over the exact position of a note.

Now unrelated to the Piano Roll but changing the properties of a sample doesn't do anything.

I don't know if this is a bug or if there's a hidden setting but regardless it's very annoying and any help would be greatly appreciated.

These are all very basic issues and non of these are bugs, but instead all are either caused by wrong usage, or you have LMMS from another page-source than our off DL-page:
That would be seriously not recommended!
