Yes. Right-click the automation track and select Record.
When you turn the connected controller during replay the movement will be recorded into the automation.
Dont have looping activated, then you will loose first part, because recording does not stop at loop-end

But i need you to delete the add in your signature.
Having add anywhere in post and signatures are against the rules!
