Font Way Too Small to Use

As Per the title.

I wanted to start learning to make some basic tunes in LMMS, but so far Ive had to learn where and how to edit the CSS style sheet, searched online for many fixes all for zero result, setting up another damn account to post this, and wasted half a day. AFAIK there is no setting to address this? I found post from 2014+ all complaining about it, and in in Windows and Linux, but in 2024 there is still no option to adjust this? My desktop is a 27" 1440p screen, and I already have the Win10 font scaling at 115%, so unless they havent coded for that, then the standard size would be tiny.

What am I missing? Is this a dead program? At this point Im ready to uninstall and learn something (anything) else. I would attach a screenshot but seem there is no way unless I go to a third party and set THAT up too.

Depends.
Does the UI fill your screen?
If the program is not complete filling your screen, then you have a scaling issue in windows, but you say that your screen is 1440 and scaling issues are seen with 4K, so i would be surprised if you do not have a complete scaled program, but do you?

I totally agree with you that the fonts are too small, and it is an issue that is being listed in the todo, but as you said there are CSS options that can help you a little
The CSS-file is found in lmms/data/themes/default/style.css

1) Make a copy of this file!!!!!
2) Get my replace CSS file here:
https://github.com/musikBear/lmms/blob/ ... ontCSS.zip
Rename that file to style.css
Open lmms
The file will only work in official 1.2.2

There is also an other option.
I use that often because i have weak eyesight, that option is to scale win10:
Hold down win-key and tab on +
The whole pc will scale to 200%
You leave that by holding down win-key and tab Esc

Besides that, since you are new in Forum

I would attach a screenshot but seem there is no way unless I go to a third party and set THAT up too.
That is one of the things that is explained in the links above.

You're facing a common issue with LMMS, where the font scaling isn't optimized for high-resolution displays, and unfortunately, this has been a longstanding complaint with no built-in fix as of 2024. You’re not alone in your frustration, and it seems LMMS hasn't yet implemented a native option to adjust font sizes or interface scaling. One workaround that some users have found is modifying the operating system's DPI settings or trying third-party tools that force scaling, but this can be hit or miss. If you're finding it too cumbersome and unresponsive to your setup, it might be worth considering alternative DAWs that offer better support for high-res displays. I was looking for a reliable ონლაინ კაზინოები in Georgia and stumbled upon a helpful guide. The review on Online Casinos in Sakartvelo gave me all the insights I needed. I felt more confident choosing a platform to play on, knowing that it’s safe and had a good selection of games.
