Hi I am a FNF music maker, and sometimes I'll make spam tracks(also known as extratone), for those who don't know what that is, its placing tens to thousands of notes in place of hold notes. This is generally used with instruments that don't have a hold option, but not always. Anyways the quantization option can NOT seem to be able to turn off, It seems the grid is always there. Even at levels like 192, it tends to be hard to make spam tracks. So here are my suggestions.
One: Option to turn off quantization.
Two: Setting to turn of snap. What that means is that even if quantitization is off, you can still have "magnet" that helps you stick to certain the grid lines.

You can already turn snap off.
If you hold down Alt, notes can be moved without snap, LMMS has a limitation. a note can never be spaced less than 1/192, and that would properly not work with your spamnotes.
That 1/192 limitation is not possible to change in current architecture.

Yes, that is why it is a suggestion. For when it becomes possible.
also, I meant ON not off with snap. I didn't mean to put "of". I also meant of it to be Seperate to quantinization. More or less, Its an option like how bandlab snap works. It snaps only when the mouse Is "near" The grid. It isnt locked to the grid.

Ahhh ON
Then there is an experimental feature in nightly where notes of grid can be snapped to selected Q-value. Nightly however has bugs atm.
But not sure i get the 'spam-note' idea at all, so that may also be useless in that context
If you got a link that shows this spam-note style, lets see it
