LMMS don't start - opensuse TW

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hello,
Recently got intressed in DAW and saw LMMS. Installed it on my distro, but when I launch it, it crashed at Preparing UI.
In the terminal I got "Job 1, 'lmms' terminated by signal SIGSEGV (Address boundary error)"
Best way to get LMMS (working) is to use this repository for openSUSE.

I use it my self, and have LMMS with Carla. :)

After install you can also easily add your self to the audio group. There is in geekos a tool for that, which you can just click.

When you click install, you will download an .ymp file.

Open this with YAST. Right click, and pick install with YAST.

I have been using this for months now.

Two other options, one is to contact the LMMS package builder for openSUSE, and tell him of your problem.

Or use the applmage file:

It's nice that Geekos has tools to streamline the setup process, like adding yourself to the audio group. That can help with reducing audio latency and improving the overall experience in LMMS.
First, ensure your system is updated with sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade. Then, check if all dependencies are installed. Try running LMMS from the terminal to capture more error details. If issues persist, rename the configuration folder with mv ~/.config/lmms ~/.config/lmms_backup to reset settings. I’ve been looking into how to get around Gamstop lately because I wanted more flexibility with my gaming choices. I found some solid tips on https://notgamstop.com/uk/gamstop-faq/h ... d-gamstop/ that gave me all the information about how to get around Gamstop that I needed. It turns out there are quite a few ways to enjoy gaming without being limited by Gamstop’s restrictions, and it was easier than I thought.
