Is there a list of working VST instruments? for Linux

Does LMMS have a list of working instruments somewhere?
I am running LMMS natively on Manjaro Linux and have some VSTi's that work in Linux Reaper but most don't work in LMMS except for Vember Short Circuit (antique sampler). I'm hoping to find out which VST synths work on Manjaro (with Yabridge) so I can do less in Reaper and more in LMMS.
Please let me know if you know how to get VSTi's working or which ones already work in Manjaro's LMMS.
Thanks.

No. It is rare that a VST
2 does not work in Linux through WINE
No VST3 works! You need Carla and embed the VST3 in Carla.
It is possible that Short Circuit is made with a kit that was popular back in the 90' Afair it was called Maycee or Maicee. Plugins made with that kit never worked with LMMS, and it was a 'thing' back then. I vaguely remember the name Short Circuit was on our then list of plugins that did
not work in lmms, because that list we had back then. It is now regarded obsolete and was removed from documentation -(i do have it 'somewhere'.. : )

musikBear thanks for a response.
I'm not sure if we are talking about the same things.
I apologize if I'm unclear.
I understand that VST3 isn't an option.
Vember Short Circuit *does work*. It's the only VST instrument I can get to work at all.
However, most of the VST effects I try do work.
Again, I'm using the stable LMMS (v1.2.2?) from within Manjaro Linux.
I do have Yabridge installed and Wine too. I'm using the Linux LMMS.
I did try the Windows LMMS in WINE and it had screen display problems and the same VST problems.
Are there any tips or specific synths that will likely work?
Also, is it only 32-bit VSTs? Or do 64-bit VSTs work?

If there is an problem with LMMS from the Manjaro repositories, you should talk to the Manjaro (LMMS) package builder.
If you want to use vst3 you need to install Carla.
I am on openSUSE, and do not know if Manjaro has Carla in their repositories.
One thing to try is to use the appImage version of LMMS from the Linux download page.
https://lmms.io/download#linux
If that version does work with Vst, then the problem is with the Manjaro version of LMMS.
Or there is an problem with the wine version.
one Vst that works for me is synth1. You first need to this with wine though.
Something simpler is to try mda piano.
Does that work?
https://plugins4free.com/plugin/201/ (win32 VST)
This one should work out of the box.

well, I tried mda piano and it froze up the whole program, but that's what usually happens to me
I also tried the appImage and it's the same problem. maybe it's a WINE problem.
like I said though, shortcircuit seems to be the only instrument that works for me. weird.

Although it takes quite some time for the link to load, the internet archive link works for me.
I also just tried mda piano again, and it does work for me.
How I use mda piano:
I download the win21 vst. Then I right click the file and open it with wine.
Then the mda installer asks were to install (place) the .dll file.
I then browse to my vst folder and click accept.
home/documents/lmms/plugins/vst.
Then I insert Vestige into LMMS. Then I click on the green folder icon and browse to the mda.dll file.
Another way is to open the file with wine and accept the default install location.
That will be: /home/username/.wine/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/Steinberg/Vstplugins
Then I copy that .dll file to a more easy to aces folder outside wine.
home/documents/lmms/plugins/vst
I am using wine staging 9.0

I am using wine staging 9.0
I am wondering if maybe it's a wine regression similar to one experienced in Cockos Reaper.
I am using Manjaro Linux (6.11.0-1-rt7-MANJARO #1 SMP PREEMPT_RT) and: "multilib/wine-staging 9.10-1 [installed]
A compatibility layer for running Windows programs - Staging branch" --from Manjaro Linux
For comparison purposes, which Linux are you using?
