LMMS on Ubuntu 24.04 - how to hear anything

Hello!

Have a great and Happy New Year!

I am facing on 2 different boxes with a rather fresh Ubuntu 24.04 installation the very same issue: No sound at all. After following lots of suggestions I found in quite old threads with lots of different output settings I am quite frustrated.

Is there already any good read on how to troubleshoot sound output issues with LMMS? I have sound in other programs and when checking the speakers in the system settings.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks!

It's awesome. It lets me run LMMS on most Linux distributions without having to install anything extra.
