LMMS forums- Remain logged in

Suddenly in the past few months, my "Remember me" feature is broken. Every time I reopen the browser, I need to re-login the lmms.io/forum/ even if I enable "Remember me". Checked, it saves cookies, so that's confusing.
I now understand what musikbear meant when he said Remember Me was broken. Sorry for saying it might've been your browser, musikbear- I see I was probably wrong.
What I am wondering is why it is finally happening now and not before. Is anyone else facing the same issue, other than musikbear?

Its unknown why this happens. I have had it for years. Changing browser or deleting cookies does not help
