So, i want try out and make some music on LMMS. I have only the most basic knowledge of music, how can i go to learn more than placing notes but actually making them sound good? I get that i'll get the "feeling" with time and experimenting, but for example:
Whenever i place a note from a soundfont it always cut in the most sharp manner possible, how can i make a piano note sound like a piano?

I have only the most basic knowledge of music,
Thats where you need to start.
Learn the absolute most basic in music theory, that is a prerequest for making any music
You can start with my tutorials here:

Also theory, because you need to understand harmony and how scale notes work together and how blue notes can create tension and surprises that makes your music interesting
how can i make a piano note sound like a piano?
a piano is difficult to synthesize it is better to get a VST-piano
Some are HUGE and build with sampled sounds, but you can also find smaller VSTs with great output
Try MDA-Piano https://plugins4free.com/plugin/201/

For general understanding of instruments I recommend you to go through my tutorials on building instruments:

Most sound samples, including piano soundfonts, have an ADSR (Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release) envelope. To make a note sound more natural, increase the release time so that the sound gradually fades out rather than stopping abruptly. The "Envelope" section in LMMS lets you tweak these parameters.

I have only the most basic knowledge of music,
To improve your music-making skills, consider learning basic music theory, like scales and chords. Adjusting note velocity can make your piano sound more realistic; softer notes feel more natural. Use ADSR envelopes to shape the sound, and add effects like reverb for depth. Watch tutorials online to pick up tips, and don’t hesitate to experiment. Regular practice will help you develop your style over time. Enjoy making music!
