0.4.5 no menu bar

Hi,
I have LMMS 0.4.5 on Ubuntu 10.10
I have no menu bar (Project, Edit, Tools, etc)
Any ideas why?
If further info is required, please let me know.

nee.. but why not upgrade? Current version is 0.4.12, and a lot of serious bugs has been removed since 0.4.5

haha, and me thinking that 0.4.5(0) is higher than 0.4.12... duh!
although, i got this from the ubuntu software centre.
neways... off to upgrade.
