Spitfire Audio LABS bug in LMMS

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hello, my LABS plugin shows a black screen every time I return to my project, preventing me from editing the instrument. Can anyone help, please? Thank you.

That could be embedding of LABS UI that need to be changed. Try Settings| Embedding and change that to No-embedding first then try the 3. option if that does not fic the issue
Let us know the outcome :)

Sadly, it didn't work, none of them did. I emailed Spitfire Audio, but they haven't replied yet.

I use the alpha version, which is 1.3.0

Ok so not any Nightly experimental thing. Spitfire should have UI
.. Oldest fix for odd things: Cold-reboot if you use to sleep your pc, but you have tried that -right

I can confirm this bug in version 1.2.2.

It only occurs with Spitfire Audio LABS. After reopening a (LMMS) project, the plugin's GUI does not load. The embedding does not affect this behavior. (The instrument still plays sound normally, the issue only prevents editing the instrument settings.)

I suspect this happens because LMMS briefly loads the plugin when opening the project. You can see the plugin window flash open for a moment and then immediately close again. This might cause a problem, for example, if the plugin tries to query the window size but the window is already closed, it could lead to the GUI not initializing properly.

The fastest and easiest fix is probably on Spitfire's side. I'll try to reach out to them, too.

Thank you! Could the GUI be hiding in tray?
What can you see if you press ALT+TAB?
It may be represented by a black form. Is there anything at all?

Besides that, since you are new in Forum

Could the GUI be hiding in tray?

No, it's just a black frame with a small white square in the bottom right corner, about 10px in size.

Welcome Laqco !

Thanks :)

And changing embedding does nothing? Still just that few pixels?
Then i am afraid i dont know what is wrong. Only option is to try 1.3-Alpha:

NOT Nightly!
