Nightly version crashes on start on Mac, SIGSEGV error
Hi all, I have been using LMMS Nightly on Mac for a while, and recently downloaded the newest version. It had been working for a while with no issue, but for some reason it recently has stopped working. In the crash report, it gives the exception type (Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)), as well as the crashed thread or "culprit" (18 com.apple.audio.IOThread.client). I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but the result remains the same. I'm at a loss for what to do. Supposedly SIGSEGV or segmentation errors indicate that the software is trying to access something that is not in the location it expected, but I'm not really sure what that means for this particular situation.
What information could I provide that would help with solving this issue?
I would really appreciate help and suggestions.
