Weird gunshot sounds and tremolo?!?

Weird noises in LMMS coming from the D.A.W itself? Sounds like a gunshot. There's also been a weird effect where it stops and starts playing again really quickly which in turn slows down the music. Any way to fix it? https://www.youtube.com/shorts/dat9cQuWHM0 (I made a video on YouTube before realizing LMMS had a forum page.) :/

I have seen ..one or two bug-report videos before but never one with that level of polished production, that is a new : )
Yes you should always restart your pc -And automatically also LMMS if strange things like this happens. In fact you should shut down your pc every day when you are done working and surfing, it is generally a bad idea to sleep your pc. You also need to shut down Windows the correct way!
From the option Power, hold left-shift and then mouse click Shut down. Only that action cleans the caches & buffers completely!
So try that and if it does not fix your issue let us know, but then We also need to know what OS and also what version of LMMS you are using, there are several possible reasons for artefacts.

Besides that, since you are new in Forum

I have nothing to do with the programming of LMMS and I cant see the CPU load in the video. However, to me it sounds the same as when I get buffer underrun. Is it (or can you) set to Frames: 4096 and Latency 92.9 ms? I have an ancient computer so I for one know that sometimes buffer underrun cant always be avoided.
