Multiple BitInvader Instruments Sound Distorted

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hi, I'm very new. Running LMMS on my ancient windows XP lappy.

Anyways, I've run into an issue where multiple instruments created with the bitinvader plug-in sound absolutely horrible when they overlap. It isn't so bad with just two playing at the same time but once you get to three I get serious distortion.

The bitinvader presets don't seem to share the same problem when playing the same music so I feel like there's some knob or button that I don't know about which might help, but I can't seem to find it.

Thanks!

edit: also, if a bunch of notes play at the same time a lot of the time on some of the presets things get really buzzy as the noise levels get too high, though things drop down on the hold. How do I fix that?
both isues is properly clipping.
have you routed each instrument to its own mixer-channel?
-if so, then in the mixer you can ajust the volume on the sliders, but thats not always enough.
If you have serious resonace on you instrument, it will almost always clip. You can solve this problem by adding a fast-look-ahead-limiter LADSPA effect-filter, and set the Limit to ~-4..-7 (t&e). monitor your vu-meters on the mixer. they should not shoot up in red, preferely only 'touch' the yellow part.
