Hi everyone,

I use lmms 0.4.12 on Ubuntu 10.04. When i run lmms from console i get this:

" Notice: could not set realtime priority.
Couldn't create MIDI-client, neither with ALSA nor with OSS. Will use dummy-MIDI-client. "

Lmms run and works ok but if i try to go to Edit / Settings, lmms closes with no error messages, then console
shows this:

" bt_audio_service_open: connect() failed: Conexión rehusada (111)
bt_audio_service_open: connect() failed: Conexión rehusada (111)
bt_audio_service_open: connect() failed: Conexión rehusada (111)
bt_audio_service_open: connect() failed: Conexión rehusada (111)
bt_audio_service_open: connect() failed: Conexión rehusada (111)
bt_audio_service_open: connect() failed: Conexión rehusada (111)
bt_audio_service_open: connect() failed: Conexión rehusada (111)
bt_audio_service_open: connect() failed: Conexión rehusada (111)
Violación de segmento ".

Conexión rehusada = connection refused
Violación del segmento = Segmentation Violation

What is the problem? I´d like to use a midi keyboard and write the path of VST effects but i can´t do it.

Sorry for my english and thanks for your help.

Regards.

-not sure if linux has this at all, but try and see if it fixes your situation...
It seams that only charachters from the english code-page can be used in strings that is part of the paths / folders/ files in the settings windows, eg in your lmms installation.
If you has folder-names with non-english charachters (including accents umlauts etc) , the paths is ignored and you get the re-enter-bug for all paths in -every- lmms session.
