LMMS 0.4.12 doesn't load any VST plugins

Hi all,
i have a big problem with loading any vst plugin , whenever I try this, I get the message:

The VST-plugin <plugin name> could not be loaded for some reason.
If it runs with other VST-software under Linux, please contact an LMMS-developer!

I played around with different vst paths adjusting them in the folder preferences and copying the plugin files the the respective directory, but unfortunately without any succes. all I ever get is the message above.
I use Win XP with Servicepack 3.

Can somebody pleae help me?

yes, you need to load vst's like:

-last section on page.
Internal VSTs presets are yet not accessable, but this is apt to change
