Ok, so I am writing a song where the beats do not line up correctly to the melody. The melody has a 3/3 time so the main drop beat must occur accordingly. However, when I change the time to 3/3 (from default 4/4), the beat timings do not change. They are either too early or too late. When I add "blocks" to the beat track, it makes no difference.
Also, when I make these changes to timings the beat columns no longer show where the beats are occurring. They appear to be blank, but they are still occurring when I play the song. So, I can't get rid of them and replace with new ones.
Must I start fresh with 3/3 timing? Can I change the beat columns so there are 4 groups of 3? How can I fix this problem???? Please help!!!
