VST — Addictive Drums or EZDrummer

Anything that doesn't fit into other topics goes here!
Hey-hey,
Can you tell me if I can use VST in LMMS & how?
I want to inject Addictive Drums (preferable) or EZDrummer. Maybe smth else later.
Is it possible? And if yes, could you explain how or give me some link to some documents with tutorials/instructions? :D
Welcome to LMMS forum!

That covers vst-instruments, and is what you ask for

This is for effects

but not related directly to your need for a percussion VST

(Unfortunately, i have to tell you that MAC does not support VST. Hope that does not apply to you)

The way you actually use drum machines is to set up the loop, then use LMMS-automation-tracks to start stop and change different loops. Can be tricky, but definitely possible.
Just ask for more, if you need more info. If you are new to LMMS i recommend the whole wiki, and (ofcause) my youtube-channel, where you find a lot of tutorials :p (signature)
Wow, thanks alot!
Absolutely! You can use VST instruments and effects in LMMS, including drum samplers like Addictive Drums and EZDrummer. Here's how to get them working:

1. Install the VST Plugin:

Download and install the VST plugin you want to use (Addictive Drums or EZDrummer) according to the manufacturer's instructions. These programs typically install their VST files in a standard location on your computer.
2. Enable VST Support in LMMS (Linux Only):

If you're using LMMS on Linux, you might need to enable VST support during installation. You can find instructions on the LMMS website or forum specific to your Linux distribution. Windows and Mac users can usually skip this step.
3. Load the VST Plugin in LMMS:

Open LMMS.
Go to "Insert" in the top menu bar and choose "VST instrument."
In the pop-up window, navigate to the folder where your VST plugins are installed (usually "Program Files" or "VST" on Windows).
Find the VST plugin you want to use (e.g., "Addictive Drums.dll") and click on it.
LMMS will load the VST plugin.
4. Using the VST Plugin:

Once loaded, the VST plugin will typically open its own interface window. This is where you can access the drum sounds, edit kits, and adjust settings specific to the plugin.
In the LMMS song editor, you can program drum beats by clicking on the desired notes in the piano roll. The VST plugin will then trigger the corresponding drum sounds based on your programming.
Hey, I'm so much glad to see you here. I'm also interested in learning new things. Would you mind sharing some more information about learning drums?

Thank you so much for your helpful reply here. I will definitely try. Can you please ensure me how much time it will take to master drums?

Sorry, no that i cant not. It will be completely individual for any LMMS-user, but as always the more you study and practice, the better your result will be.
Yeah, you are right. I'm also agree with you here. I will definitely try. If I face any kind of issues. I'm also interested in gaming. I see UK online casinos try to improve their services and provide plenty of impressive rewards for new user £10 free no deposit casino uk. Do you have any idea? Thank you so much for your help here.
