MIDI Keyboard

Hi
I have my Midi Keyboard plugged into my USB port
when I play a sound there is a delay hearing the note.
I'm using windows 7.
do you know a fix for this?

Welcome to the community
i believe that could be your sound-device a.o. latency-settings.
The recommended sound-device for windows, is SDL.
Cables connecting the device could also be a reason
I dont own a keyboard, so this is not from own experience

Welcome to the forum.
In LMMS click "Edit" then "settings" then change the default buffer setting to something that works the best with your hardware.
Mine is set around the middle 185 ms.
I don't use a windows computer, so I don't know what will work the best for you.

I hate say this but I tried all sorts of things without ever getting rid of MIDI latency problems on my Win 7 laptop. Eventually I moved LMMS onto a more powerful Win 8.1 laptop and it's fine on that.
But for a start in LMMS Edit/Settings check you have SDL set as your audio interface and try setting the Buffer Size down as low as it will go without the sound breaking up (on mine that's about 256). These sites have some other useful tips:
