Noob question about BB editor and Automation

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
How do I adjust the volume for the BB track in song editor? Do I have to go through every single instrument track in the BB editor?

About the automation track, it seems that the position of the icon on the timeline doesn't matter at all? How can I fit in the crescendos and decrescendos when I can't compare the graph with the position of the notes?
Hello!

Yes. The way how I do is sending every track to the same Mixer. Or in groups. Then of course is more easy control the volume.

Is hard to do like this. But there are two things that was helping to me. One of them was pay attention to the number of tempo in piano roll and automation too. The other was help to me is clicking Shift meanwhile drag the border of panel instruments in Song Editor in order to see more clearly the notes (Which are visible when was write it on Song Editor, not BB) But you even can add an Automation in BB too.

Ok, I know this is not the best answer but I hope you can use it and work for you.
Hi,

1. So I assume you mean creating a global automation track of volume in the BB editor? I hope that LMMS developers can just add a volume knob to the BB track in song editor...

2. Can you post a screenshot your automation graph from a completed project please? And if the piece is rather long, it will become much harder to do what you said.
just add a volume knob to the BB track in song editor...
i suggested a similar thing, but in the discussion for the feature, several implementation stumple-stones was dug up.
The situation would need that any output first was compressed, so all had same vol.
further, with the mixers send dials, you can build this yourself
I have some vids on how to use mixer for several special situations, here
