VeSTige plugin missing

Hello everybody and happy new year
I've been happily using LMMS on Windows 7 for weeks with some free VST such as DSK and DVS via VeSTige plugin.
Today I installed Linux Mint on my PC and tried installing LMMS and using those VSTs.
First I installed Wine then LMMS, both from Ubuntu Software Center as told in the following guide:

The problem is VeSTige doesn't show up in the plugin list as it did on Windows, so I can't use VSTs.
I also tried doing the same procedure on Lubuntu but VeSTige is still missing.
Can you tell what's the problem?
I also tried installing the LMMS Windows version on Wine and VeSTige DOES show up so I can use VSTs but of course the latency is huge so I would prefer using VSTs on LMMS Linux version.

Can you please help me?

If my memory serves me right, the problem is with the Mint package.

There is one with and without vestige.

You could also try to install the kxstudio package.

I don't use Mint myself, but I would guess add the kx studio repository to mint.
