Hello Everyone,
I figured I would share some of my ideas / observations.
I apologize if any of these have already been mentioned by others.
MIXER
1.) Some VST effects do not have their own GUI so they rely on a DAW to provide a generic interface for their controls. LMMS has the ability to do this with its wrench icon but that icon is within the "Controls" GUI window itself. Therefore when you load an effect without an interface the "Controls" button does not appear in that item in the Effects Chain, so you cannot access its controls.
It may be nice to somehow have LMMS detect this and be able to load up its generic interface (wrench icon) automatically for effects without interfaces.
2.) Not a huge deal but if you have a track in the mixer that has a rather long name label it goes under the track number rectangle and beyond it does not cut off, probably should be a little more room for the labels.
3.) Similar to above, when you add effects in the "Effects Chain" if the effect name label found at the bottom of each added effect is too long, it cuts off kind of odd. Again not a huge deal, but it just makes it look better.
4.) Maybe the ability to apply different colors to mixer tracks.
5.) Moving of mixer tracks. The current method with the context works but it is a little odd. If you have wanted to move a track very far it can be a little much. The ability to click on a mixer track and drag it to where to you want it may be nice, but the programming of that may be difficult, but maybe adding an option in the context menu that allows you to type in the track number you desire and it moves the track to that number?

It is already possible to move mixer-channels:
* Highlight channel in question
* Hold-ALT
* Move high-lighted channel left/right with left & right arrow-keys
