Multiple tracks not playing at the same time

I just started messing around with LMMS the other day. I've been having the same problem across all of my projects. I can't get multiple tracks to play at the same time. Right now I'm trying to get Nescaline to play at the same time as a B/B. If there's anything happening in the B/B, the Nescaline is muted. The Nescaline only plays when the B/B is silent. I've had this issue with all of my projects, I can't seem to get this to work. Is there a setting I need to change to fix this?

windows 8, Intel Celeron CPU N2830 2.16GHz, 4GB ram

Nice hardware :)
Try and load one of the demo projects, and study that.
Do you get full sound from that, or ?
Also, SDL is preferred sound-device for windows-computers
