Audio being werid?

I just got a new computor, and installed lmms, but the sound coming out is all weird and funky, either too high-pitched or buzzing, and always delayed by a varying amount. I suspect it may have something to do with the buffer size, and I tried setting it to the values recommended in the videos on the website, but to no avail. Any help?

Have you tried setting your sound device to SDL?

eg:

You should be able to use SDL on both windows and linux. For windows SDL is std.

SDL? The only options I see are speakers and primary sound device.

Wait NVM, I'm an idiot, once I actually figured out what you meant it worked.
