I have to agree with Tweedie Bird, it does have a Trance sound to it.
Especially from 0 secs to 1:47 secs, if you sped it up a bit faster.

Usually it has a wave synth or a pulse. But that's just a vague field. Usually trance requires slow build up usually starting with a reverb "ahhh" and percussion and giving people little bits of the melody during that progression.
