Saving .wav files using Export tracks

I have a bunch of .wav samples that most programs won't read but LMMS via AFP has no trouble with. So I thought I'd load the ones I wanted to use as separate tracks in a project then save them as separate 16 bit .wav files using Export Tracks. It sort of works and Audacity etc can now use them.

BUT....all original samples are 3.7 seconds long (2 bars at 130bpm) but the saved versions all have a couple of seconds empty space on the end making them about 5.5 seconds long. Is there any reason for this that I can do anything about ? I can fix them one at a time in Audacity but it's a bit time consuming and it would be much better if that blank space wasn't added.

ya.. that is 'added' to be able to get any reverb or similar, and is is all honesty garbage :/ Its been discussed and quite 'vivid' ykwim..
My only suggestion would be to use audacity to trim the clips, but lmms should not do like that.

Thanks for that musikbear, it was worth asking. I'd hoped that the "Export as loop (remove end silence)" switch would kill it but that doesn't seem to do anything.

Audacity it is then.
