Hear me out:
I've been with LMMS ever since 2012, (not necessarily the community, though) and throughout my experience, I've always been wondering "The piano roll needs a new feature, but I don't know what." Recently I've been thinking it over, seeing how this idea could work. Here's my idea:
Color Coded Piano Roll:
Personally, I found it annoying trying to make a melody with two different presets match up. I had to go back and forth between each piano roll, memorizing the certain position of the note, etc. That's why, this would be a lot more helpful. You would stay in one "central" piano roll. (You would also be able to change the color of each note that represents the preset.)
