H folks, I'm a muso working on Windows 7 using version 1.3.3, availing myself of some tutorials, learning my way around. I'll ignore the main limitation for now(not able to import my own presets for 3rd-party VSTs) since I can hear how good the included sounds are, and how simple and logical the interface. Also, I've never been able to get ZynAddSub to work right for me until now - it sounds great! The Beat & Baseline editor is making more sense and that helps a lot, too. Thanks to the devs and please keep up the good work.
Hi and welcome MoeShinola1!

You mean 1.1.3 :)

What vst-plugin is that?
1.1.3 supports all the VSTs you can find in this
https://lmms.io/wiki/index.php?title=Tested_VSTs
list, and many more.
Please try one in the list, and report back, if you have issues.
Imo Synth1 is one of the very best, and very cpu efficient. If you follow the install recommendations, it will work.

The synth is Novakill's FearkillerX2, a Synthedit creation, if that makes a difference. And thanks for the link to the resources.

yes, kit-build vst's does not (always) work.
May i ask you to read this:

Follow that, and install Synth1. You will never regret Synth1. Not only is it fantastic, you can also find 10 of thousands free presets, great tutorials for making your own, and LMMS uses Synth1 amazingly efficient. Most will be able to add dozens without cpu spikings, and i know projects with 50!
Synth1, zynAddSubFX and 3oc are the ones you should try.
I have many tuts on zynAddSubFX on my yT channel :)

Welcome :D
I do like Synth 1! Especially Mr. Wobble's patches. I like to use my own sounds, though, and I learned last night that at least EFM's p600 2 will load my patchbank, which is available here:

Great. Just ask us if you have any other issues :)
