lmms 1.1.3 in wine no directories

hi. i am using lmms 1.1 in ubuntu 14.4 , but i wanted to try 1.1.3 or 1.1 .9 for win in wine. it installs fine, but on the pan on the left, although the working directory is c:/.../lmms, no presets, instruments or any directory is present. i try to change directory to data, where all the samples are located, but it will not let me.
by the way, i installed the beta version 1.1.9 in win vista and when i press edit/settings, it crashes every time , therefore it is impossible to use.

My guess on this is that you have folders with non-ISO-charachters. If you have used ASCII-charachters in your folder file or path-names, the internal parser cant read them, and you wont have any access to the folders in question.

by the way, i installed the beta version 1.1.9 in win vista

1.1.90 for windows is a 'bughunting' RC and the first of the RCs. It is with no guarantee at all -infact almost guaranteed that it has issues :P
But a crash exactly when you try to edit settings, also make the guess that is has the do with character-usage

thanks for answering. i actually did not change any name of any folders,all is default from wine, but it is not that important. i will try it in win, but i use it mostly the linux version. it was just handy not to have to reboot. and i don't like win anymore
