Mac version not saving

I recently installed LMMS on a Mac running OSX 10.6.8. Everything seems to work except when I save and quit then reenter my project, none of my work has been saved and the project resets to the default.

Am I doing something wrong or does this sound like a bug?

The short of it.. They ARE saving, use File, Open instead.

Just confirming that using File -> Open worked for me. So it was saving everything after all!
